I live 30 minutes from the beach. It's summertime now. One of those patients sign in q2 hours...face palm again. And again. And again. I feel your pain.

Example: almost without fail the day you wear your new scrubs or shoes to work, you get vomit/poop/pee-d on.

Guess they've never heard of sunblock and/or aloe after-burn gel?

EMS seriously needs to be given the right to refuse transport to these people based on chief complaint.

hmmm...well i guess it makes triaging easy...hope you can say ok, might have come in by ems, but have a seat in our handy waiting room because when this whole place is empty then, and only then, will we get to YOU!!
and sadly...no one has found the cure for stooopid yet....

Are they really that afraid of getting sued that they won't refuse transport for this kind of stuff?
