It feels great to have participated in history. Obama has quite a row to hoe--his work is cut out for him, and I certainly don't envy him.
But I can't wait to see what happens next!

Indeed. It's no secret what I think of him. But the accomplishment that he is President Elect given where this country was 50 years ago is a testament to most good things in the universe.
The depressing part is that during the first years of a new president, all they get to do is battle their opponents--in a non-productive manor.
Every time a new POTUS comes into office all we do is spend months--maybe years in deadlock with our egos so inflated that the only time something gets done is when their paychecks are about to be shut off because they haven't approved the Federal Budget.
Godspeed to President Elect Obama. Godspeed to America.
